F. de Lange t/a VideoMan will always endeavour to make sure that our clients’ original media and hardware is kept safe and in the same condition as received when we do take possession of said media and hardware. However, if, against all odds, said media or hardware is damaged by accident, fire, theft, acts beyond our control, or acts of God, or for any other reason, F. de Lange cannot be held responsible for these damages. Clients leave their media in the possession of F. de Lange at their own risk.
Using courier services to send media and hardware to VideoMan, or to have VideoMan send media and hardware via courier services to clients, is also done at the clients’ own risk, and will also be subject to the courier company’s terms of service.
Copyrighted material may not be sold or distributed without the copyright holder’s express permission.
Clients’ files can only be kept for up to 1 month on our filesharing server, after which the files will be removed. It is our clients’ responsibility to download the files within this time period.
When VideoMan provides clients with new storage drives, these drives will be formatted in exFAT format. This allows files larger than 4GB to be loaded onto the drives and for the drives to be used on both Windows and Mac-based computers. Some older Smart TV’s may not be able to read these flash drives. It is accepted that clients will understand this.
Clients’ original and digitised media will ONLY be handed over to the client once all outstanding invoices are settled.
Making use of VideoMan’s services means that you automatically agree to the above terms.

Courier
We can arrange from our side to have The Courier Guy come to your home or workplace to collect your media from you and deliver it to us. Once the work is done we can have The Courier Guy deliver everything back to your home or workplace. The courier cost will be R150 per delivery.
